My Sensory Place of Durham is a non-profit organization, scheduled to operate in the Durham Region but servicing all the GTA. It will provide a family play centre for children and youth with autism and special needs in a safe and non-judgmental environment, regardless of ethno-cultural background, and will also offer a supportive social network for families.
This journey of creating My Sensory Place of Durham is one that starts from the heart. We hope you will share in our enthusiasm for an organization that will bring a positive addition to the community and address a clear and important identified need – a lack of family play spaces for children and youth with autism and special needs in the GTA.
